Gigabyte Unveils New AI Hardware and Motherboards Ahead of COMPUTEX
Gigabyte launches new AI-driven motherboards, laptops, and GPU dock with X3D Turbo Mode 2 ahead of COMPUTEX 2025 for gaming and AI tasks.

Gigabyte launched a fresh lineup of AI-driven hardware products under the banner “LEADING EDGE” at a pre-COMPUTEX event. The company emphasized enhanced capabilities for gaming, creative professionals, and enterprise AI applications with new motherboard technologies and innovative accessories.
The spotlight was on the introduction of X3D Turbo Mode 2 on Gigabyte’s latest AORUS X870 X3D motherboards, which come in MASTER, PRO, and ELITE ICE models. This new AI-enhanced feature automatically optimizes performance by adjusting settings to suit different workloads, delivering up to a 35 per cent increase in efficiency. Meanwhile, Intel platform users will benefit from the Z890 series motherboards featuring Ultra Turbo Mode BIOS. This technology offers a performance uplift of as much as 38 per cent without the need for manual overclocking.
In a milestone achievement, the Z890 AORUS TACHYON ICE motherboard set a new world record for memory speed through AI-assisted overclocking techniques. Additionally, Gigabyte presented the STEALTH ICE series, which encompasses motherboards, the AORUS RTX 5090 graphics card, and a PC case designed with reverse connectors to reduce cable clutter and enhance airflow.
On the AI hardware front, the company unveiled the AI TOP ATOM — a compact AI supercomputer leveraging the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. This system supports AI models with parameter sizes up to 200 billion and can be clustered to handle 405 billion parameters, targeting enterprise AI workloads.
For external GPU needs, Gigabyte introduced the AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX. This Thunderbolt 5-enabled GPU dock offers a 3.1x performance improvement over its predecessor and aims to empower laptops with high-end gaming, creative, and AI processing capabilities.
In the laptop segment, Gigabyte debuted AI-enhanced gaming and creator notebooks including the AERO X16 and GAMING A18 models. Both integrate the GiMATE AI assistant, which provides features like voice interaction and a dedicated GiMATE Coder tool designed to assist developers with code generation.
Further software improvements were announced with AI TOP Utility 4.0. The utility enables local inference of AI models scaling up to 685 billion parameters and includes a Model Converter for seamless AI deployment across various devices.
Lastly, Gigabyte expanded its lineup of gaming monitors by adding AI-powered features. The new M27UP and MO27Q28G models boast AI-based visual tuning and support refresh rates from 200 Hz up to 500 Hz, targeting competitive gamers and content creators seeking smoother visuals.
